Very specific NGU question, about tests

So I received unprotected oral about 6-7 weeks before the symptoms started.  Symptoms have slowly gotten worse this week
penile tingles but no pain.
Lower abdomen bloating
tightness in my groin
all symptoms seem to worsen as I sit or the day progresses.

No discharge, no pain urinating or ejaculating

I tested for clymydia and Gonorhea, both were negative.
I also had a urine test that included
Bilirubin
Specific gravity
Glucose
Ketones
Hemoglobin,ur
Protein
PH
Urobilinogen
Nitrite
Leukocyte Esterase
and a visual appearance and color

All were negative or in normal range.

These were tests were Friday  I also had a blood test which the results have not been sent to me because of the weekend, and Im not sure if other urine tests are still not in yet.  My question is would NGU have risen any of these values in my urine test? Many of the things the urine test for were infection in my urine but all were normal.  I already have HSV1 and my partner swears they have no symptoms of anything.  So im guessing HSV2 and syphilis are not likely.

Please advise?  Stress is killing me

Nitrite and Leukocyte Esterase can indicate an infection, but the absence of either in the urine test doesn't mean that no infection is present. I'd ask them to look for white blood cells specifically, either from a urine sample or the swab or PCR, like klamidia suggests. The PCR will take it further, so that's the best idea.

Since it gets worse as you sit, talk to them about prostatitis, too.

Good luck, and let us know.

I did have wbc count was normal in urine.  After 8 weeks ssense exposure, and a week and a half of gradually increased symptoms wouldnt something have shown up?  Even some discharge?   Tthank you
Yes, at 8 weeks, your testing would show something if you had gonorrhea, chlamydia or NGU. If you had a normal WBC count, you do not have NGU.

You might not have discharge - not every man gets that, but with your symptoms, something would have. Bloating is not a sign of an STD. Neither is tightness. You should follow up with your doctor about this, and try not to focus on STDs as the cause. You could be missing out on whatever the real cause is.

Hi,

urine culture in men will show bacteria only after the infection has progressed substantially, please ask either for a swab, or a pcr analyses
