What is this? I hope someone can help!!!

I recently ended up with  2 dime size white lesions on my vagina. I had hpv about 20 years ago and was treated and never had a problem since. I have only been with my husband for the past 8 years and neither one of us has cheated. Out of the blue, I found these 2 flat white raw areas on the outer part of my vagina, one on the upper area and one on the lower area. I do not have any discharge but feel like my vagina and anus are itching like crazy. I have also broke out with little bumps on both of my wrists, not sure if it is even related to the problem. I was swimming and the next day I noticed these sores on my vagina. They look like they are all white, but flat. I went to the obgyn and she said that she could not tell what they were because I had already put medicine on them and tried to treat myself. She said she could not take a biopsy of it but was going to do some bloodwork to check for a few std's, including herpes. I explained that I was married and so on and she just made me feel dirty and uncomfortable about the entire situation. She looked and said she did not see any warts so I am not sure what this can be. I am devastated at the thought that it could be herpes and my husband seems to be very understanding about it and says we will deal with whatever it is. I am just so upset and can't even get through the day without crying. Is it possible that I contracted this years ago and never had an outbreak? I have looked at pictures of herpes and they look like groups of little bumps and these are just 2 large areas that I'm dealing with. Can someone please help me before I totally lose my mind?

Went into my regular doctors office for a check-up and while I was there I asked him about the bumps on my wrists. He looked at them and said that he was pretty sure that it is Molluscum. I told him that I made an appointment with a dermatologist but they can't get me in for a couple of weeks. He gave me some cream which seems to be working in the "lower" part of my body and I am using wart cream to paint the ones on my wrist and ankle. I am also using apple cider vinegar on the ones on my wrists as well and they seem to be drying up and getting flat. I just wish that I knew what this was a couple weeks ago because I didn't know it could spread to other places on my body and now it looks like it is starting on my face. This is really a terrible virus and I don't know why they say it is mostly caused by sexual contact in adults. I think that it is being spread more and more because people have not idea what it is at first and they think it is just a wart or acne. I myself think that I got it from the nail salon or a pubic bathroom because it did not come from sexual contact because I am married and my husband has nothing on him. I have been researching this and I think they need to make people more aware of what it is and not make people feel like it is an STD like the obgyn did to me when I went there. I sure do feel sorry for anyone that gets this virus because it is just gross and these bumps can just keep popping up everywhere!

Tests cam back negative for herpes, which is such a relief but I still don't know what this is.

Hi and welcome. The best way to get to the bottom of this is have a herpes test. Could be a friction irritation from swimming as you noticed the same time. but testing will at least elliminate your herpes concern.
