What is it?

Hi
Can someone please help.  The day after a sexual encounter, my testicles really ached and i developed pain in my abdomen and back, the opening of my urethra also started to look a little red (rash like).   I had a test for Chlamydia and Gonnorhea 5 days after, which showed negative, but positive for Ureaplasma Urealyticum.   I was prescribed doxycycline twice a day for 7 days.  The pain in my back, testicles and abdomen remained, as did the red urethral opening.  I went to see a urologist, who diagnosed me with prostatitis and epididymitis and put me on 500mg Ciprofloxacin for 6 weeks.  Follow-up has confirmed that my prostate is now normal again as is the epididymitis.  During taking this medicine, the redness on my penis has got worse and is now the corona(?) is very red, and the head looks wrinkled, as if it has been emersed in water for hours.  6 weeks after the incident I had tests for HepB & C, HIV and Syphilis, which were all negative.   i have also repeated the Chlamydia and Gonnorhea tests (8 weeks post), all coming back negative, including Mycoplasma and Ureaplasma.

It is now 11 weeks after the incident and my penis still doesn't look right, there is still a red rash and it is still wrinkled.  There is no discharge, or smegma,  and i have no pain urinating.  I have not had any spots or lesions appear during this.

What am I missing, this is driving me insane.

Have you followed up with your Dr? He/She is going to be your best resource right now. it could be a number of things or it could be more mental then anything.

To update.  I have had all STDs tested and all negative except HPV type 16, which i believe is unlikely to cause warts, although is high risk.

However, I still have the redness at the urethral meatus, and the corona.  The tip of my penis is constantly tingling.   I have pain in my lower back and abdomen and sometimes in my right testicle.    Could this be a return of prostatitis due to an infection that has not shown itself on urine analysis.

Any help welcome

You would have to follow up with your Dr. This is not STD related.
