Whats the truth here

I have been with my fiancee for almost 4 years and never been unfaithful. Im sure he hasnt cheated but I think its because Im blaming him for this std called trichimonasis and listening to doctors say its only sexually transmitted. We are goung to have a baby and because of this diagnosis he says that I had to cheat cuz he didnt and doesnt believe the baby is his. I left him the day we got this incredible news because I really believe him to be the one who cheated. This has torn us apart and im 100% sure I didnt cheat. What is really going on here????

Trich dies with drying and isn't transmitted by towels, shared clothes, etc.  But Luis10 is right about why it often is diagnosed in monogamous couples.  It's a BIG mistake to end a relationship because of trich:  probably neither of you was unfaithful.  This happens all the time -- just ask your gyn.

Tricho could have been with one of you for years before finding out about it. It isn't tested for in standard STD tests. So when you are told you are clear and don't have one this might not be true they also don't rest for genital herpes!!! Crazy I know. So one of you could have had it from a past partner and not known as 70% of people have no symptoms. Also I ve read that tricho can live on one objects and towels for a very short time. It seems to be the only std that I read about that can. ( not sure hoe true this is) so the bottom line is if either of you have had other partners in the past there is no way of knowing where on when you got it.
