How soon after possible sti exposure can you start treatment?

Hi, so just curious as to how soon after a suspected exposure to say a sti/std, say chlamydia or gonorrhoea could you take medication?, even before any symptoms appear and how affective it would be?

Hi you would need the correct dosage from a doctor and would cure it in about 7 days but you should test first as taking antibiotics can cause side effects. What was your suspected exposure and the way your wording this i suspect you have a long term partner your concerned about also.
