Worried about sickness after sex.

Learned my lesson here but last weekend I had protected intercourse on Friday with unprotected oral (giving and receiving), made out with a separate woman on Saturday, and had protected sex with another on Sunday. The two I slept with both claimed to have been clean and tested recently. I was tested two weeks prior and clean as well.

On Tuesday I felt very, very ill. Body aches, chills, waking up in sweats, and a really bad sore throat. It was worse throughout the week, so I went to the doctor. He saw my throat was red and swollen, so he gave me augmentin and naproxen. The aches and chills went away but the sore throat got worse. It really freaked me out. Drinking and eating was almost impossible. So I went days later and he gave me prednisone, which has been a life saver. That worked within hours.

Any chance this was an std? To my knowledge, the doctor didn't see any lesions. I am worried though. I spoke to the first woman and she said she went to the doctor as well with swollen lymph nodes and was given an antibiotic.

Should I be worried? Should I get tested again???
