Yes, you're correct regarding your tingling in the hand. Flouroquinilones are extremly potent antibiotics and many people have had lingering health problems after discontinuing use of them. 30 days is a long time to be on that kind of drug.
regarding your other symptoms, if you didn't test for any STD's prior to treatment, you will never know if it was STD related or not. If you really suspect your wife has some kind of infection that may have been passed on, talk to her about being tested and getting treatment.
Hey
There is no reason to think this is STD related.
Had unprotected sex the beginning of August with someone I would assume was clean (my wife) about a week later I developed back pain and it was hard to stop and start a urine stream plus I had to go more frequently. Never had any other "classic symptoms" such as burning, discharge, nausea, fever etc" the testicle pain showed up about 2 weeks ago. From what I've read about Cipro....sounds like that could cause some tingling.
It could be epididymitis, but it should have cleared up with the 30 days of Cipro. You should follow up with your doctor.
Regarding STD's, based on what you have told us, we don't have enough information to tell you if it's an STD or not. How did the all start? Did you have a sexual encounter prior to symptoms? When did symptoms begin, etc.
Cipro is 500 mg x2 for 25 days
