it just removes the warts that are treated. it does nothing else.
and one last question, does this freezing mechanism limit the possibility of them spreading? or does it only freeze the specific few warts and it may still spread to the surrounding areas?
thanks!
they will change in appearance over the next few days.
yes sometimes it is very hard to tell the difference between a skin tag and a wart. since these were burnt off and not removed to be sent to lab to find out, you'll never know at this point.
thanks a lot for your reply grace.
yes, they were only a couple of warts so he used nitrogen on them to freeze them. this was yesterday. now they got bigger in size and seem bloated but from my understanding, this is part of the treatment/cure and they do get bigger before they fall off?
i read somewhere else that usually men who get genital warts get them on the shaft/penis and not on the groin/thighs or even testicles. but i also read that warts if they are deemed to be warts and are seen near the genitals testicles etc are most likely to be genital warts and not other kinds of warts. so if the dermatologist ultimately deemed them to be warts, then my guess is they were sexually transmitted...the funny thing though is at first he wasnt too sure then upon more careful inspection he finally said they were. do skin tags and warts look thaaat smimilar?
i'll keep my finger crossed anyway they dont spread and just go away on their own. and on a personal note, if i ever have another future breakup and my partner gets together with someone else during that breakup, im simply not taking her back again.
if left untreated, warts can spread. Have they given you treatment for the warts or set up an appointment to remove them?
you might never figure out the who had it first part of all of this but it's not likely that you had it prior to this relationship of a year and are now showing symptoms. also the warts that you get on your hands, typically do not like to infect the genital area.
