Yeast or Herpes??!!

Please help! I am FREAKING OUT!

A year ago, I was taken advantage of by a co-worker.  I got tested for everything and went months convinced I had HIV.  I was slowly getting better, until 2 months ago, I had a sore throat.  It progressed into a fever, body aches, blah, blah, blah.  I thought it was strep, but the swab test proved negative and the doctor diagnosed me with Tonsillitis.  I was given an antibiotic (amox-tr-k clv) and a steroid (to shrink my tonsils) and it disappeared almost immediately (I was probably fighting it myself).  About a week after I was done taking the antibiotic, I started my period.  I always use pads, never tampons.  I noticed my vagina looked wrinkled during my period (odd, I know) and started to itch.  I assumed it was my period, until I eventually got a very, very painful rash that was all over my vagina, up to above my anus.  It burned and eventually my vagina started peeling rather badly.  I was really concerned.  I didn't have much of a discharge.  I also developed tiny red bumps on my inner thighs and buttocks (collectively, maybe 4-5 total).  The bumps weren't painful and they weren't really raised.  I don't think they were itchy either.  I took 3 day Monistat and it seemed to help a little, but I didn't get the expected reaction.  It went away and I went on with my life.

About a month later, when my period comes around again, I get another yeast infection.  It is what I typically experienced before with yeast infections.  I had the weird cottage cheese discharge (I could see milky white discharge inside my vagina), it didn't have an odor, until recently, it itched worst than the last time, I experienced redness, swelling, soreness, and the flat red bumps on my thighs and buttocks again.  I also have peeling, crusty/scaly skin again.  Tonight, I just bought Monistat 1 day treatment.  So far, it seems to work.  I feel cooling and I don't have the need to itch or anything.

However, I immediately freaked out when I googled red bumps yeast infection and herpes immediately came up!!  I am freaking out!!  The bumps aren't together, they are definitely not puss-filled, and they don't look like sores.  Just seem to be like razor bumps.  They aren't close together either and do NOT look like bubbles.  I also saw sore buttocks is a symptom and my buttocks have been sore (like I've done a work out), but that could also be due to my new chair I've used the past week.

My question is, can yeast infections have red bumps?!  Am I worrying for nothing?  I am planning on getting a doctor to check me out, but it is currently 9pm and I need to ease my mind until the urgent cares are open tomorrow morning.  I need your opinion, does this sound like herpes?  I thought you'd have the first break out 2 days - 1 month after exposure, not a whole year.  But, I just found out it can lay dormant for years.

I am very scared.  Please help me.

the 3 day and 1 day monistats aren't the best way to treat reoccuring yeast infections like this.  At this point I recommend going to be seen monday or tuesday next week ( because now you have to wait for the 1 day treatment to work its way out of your body ) and get proper tested for yeast and bacterial infections. If they see any signs of yeast, they can give you oral diflucan to help clear it up better.

there is no reason to think this is a std. the antibiotic you were on is well known for causing yeast overgrowth issues in us gals. sometimes getting rid of yeast is easier said than done and your initial symptoms genitally could've used a full 7 day treatment course, not the 3 day course.

P.S.S. (OMG LOL, sorry) - I also forgot to mention, I've had sex with my boyfriend (protected) and it didn't hurt during the "yeast infection".  Also, during the first "yeast infection", my groin lymph nodes were palpable and painful.  This second time, however, they do not appear to be swollen.  If they are, they aren't painful and hardly noticeable.

P.S. - I forgot to say I tested negative for HIV 1/2 (once at 4 months and again at 6 months), HPV, Syphilis, Gonorrhea, and Chlamydia.  I am also a 22 year old woman.  After exposure, I never came down with a fever or body aches or anything.  However, with the Tonsililtis, I got a fever and body aches and I came down with what appeared to be flu AGAIN, just a month after that (with a fever, body aches).
