gonorrhea of the throat?

Last Friday I gave oral to a guy who I'm not sure is that clean and i think 2 days after my throat started swelling. My throat just feels like it has a lot of pressure on it. I do have little white bubbles at the back of my tounge if that matters. I can't go to a doctor so that is not an option. I really don't know what to do. Please help.

most sore throats are viral in nature and go away on their own. if your sore throat is gone now, no reason to be seen.

if you know you can't rest, follow up with the proper testing at the proper times.

What if your throat stops hurting? Would I still have to get checked out?!

if it's a doc in a box type clinic in a walgreen's then yes you can go there.

Never heard of Wallgreens having Dr's or nurses on staff in order to administer tests.

well dear the only way to find out what is going on is to go and be seen and get some basic testing done. odds are this isn't a std but something viral that is easily transmitted from kissing someone or even being within 3 feet of them and breathing. you also can contract strep throat from kissing someone also.

go , be seen, get some basic testing done and if you are concerned about this being a std, be sure to be honest with your provider so that they can order the proper testing to check for it.

it's always in your  best interest to only give and receive protected oral sex. saves you from worrying, protects you and also saves you from testing frequently!
