could this be an std?

Question

I am a 26yr old male. I've been with the same girl for 10 years so i dont make a habit of having multiple partners. we had some problems in 2010 and I was with another girl one time and unprotected just briefly then protected the rest of the time back in june. I had unprotected anal sex with another girl in mid to late july and stopped after half a minute or so just because the thought of catching something freaked me out. I took an at home HIV test in august or september and it was negative. I started having very mild pain in my testicles around mid fall that would come and go and i tried to ignore it. (it has never gone away completely). I have been with this 2nd girl 2 or 3 times since but always protected. The last time was in mid december and the day after we were together i noticed a tingling in the tip of my penis that lasted a couple of days then went away. I thought i was just raw from some clothed grinding. About 2 weeks ago that feeling came back and has bugged me about everyday since but its off and on, and never constant. I have been to 2 doctors that say they dont think its an std and have not performed the tests for that reason. The last doc said he thought it could be Urethritis and prescribed me a 10 day supply of doxycycline of which i am on day 8. I still have the tingling and a feeling like i dribble a little but there is no discharge. It never burns but just feels weird. The testicle pain eased off significantly when i started getting the tingling feeling 2 weeks ago but I still notice it a day here and there and it had never been severe. I think im a hypocondriac anyway and the worry is killing me... Any suggestions? and if it were urethritis, when should i see some results?  Thanks

Thank you. I finished my antibiotics and the tingling went away but now i feel a very slight pain in the right testicle again. If it were an std shouldnt the meds have taken care of all that? I have had no sexual activity since ive been on them. .... Also, i wanted to mention that ive had blood drawn 3 or 4 times because i had some stomach pain and ended up having some very mildly elevated ALPs and ASTs. My doc called yesterday and said whatever else they tested for came back normal, i know there was a hep c test done and maybe some type of iron test done but idk what else. I will take your advice and follow up with urologist, but do you have any other ideas on this?

Well you symptoms could be related to an STD... you should have been tested not just treated. The dxy would have cured Gono or chlamydia if you had either of those... you can also test for NGU and Trick.

I would suggest following up with a urologist. 

You should also get testing for HSV, Syphilis.
