Which STD do I have?

Hello. A month ago I gave a male friend oral sex without any sort of protection. Less than a week later I got a fever, my throat got sore and red bumps appeared on the back of my tongue. The worst symptom was a white film in my throat which seemd to be an infection. After some days all the symptoms dissapeared. But two days ago they came back. I have difficulty in swallowing and it is painful when I try. I think it is an STD but it is hard to know which since there is no clear cut match.
I will appreaciate it SO much if a doctor will give me an answer. I am deeply scared since I can't imagine what this symptoms may lead to. It was very irresponsable of me to give oral sex without protection and I am sick with guilt.
Thank you so much in advance.
Fearfully,
Gabi

I already saw a doctor and it was just a normal infection.

Hi there -

This isn't the doctor's forum, and no one, including a doctor, can diagnose you over the internet.

However, most oral stds don't give you symptoms, and they probably wouldn't go away and come back again.

You really should see your doctor.  You might have strep throat or something and need antibiotics to clear it up.  Be honest with your doctor, so he can diagnose you appropriately.
