Molluscum contagiosum

My wife was  diagnosed with molluscum four years ago at her ob/gyn. I was in the waiting room, but when they opened the door I heard her Dr. say "you need to tell your husband" . When we got to the car she said the Dr. found molluscum around her vagina. She said I should get tested, so I did and it came back negative. I have been tested many times since then and still negative. How could she have gotten it and only got it around her vagina? I have never been with anybody else since I first met her. I know her boss has the hots for her and it is just the two of them alone in that building all day. I hate to think she has been unfaithful, but what are the odds that she got it some other way? I could see it maybe coming from a toilet seat if it was also on her legs and butt, but only on her vagina? I could forgive her for sure, but I need to know the likelihood of this happening any other way than sexual contact before I ask her. Please help. Thank you!

All i can say is that Molluscum is very common and is not limited to contracting through sex at all.

No she doesn't go to the gym. We don't have a pool or hot tub. Her boss has a hot tub at his apartment (that is attached to the office) We don't even share towels. I just don't know where she could have gotten it. I have a hard time believing she got it from the toilet seat at the office, for she is the only woman there and nobody else would use her restroom.

Hi, this can be picked up even from a towel. Does she go to a gym?
