false positive?

I was tested in oct for herpes. Quest diagnostics used hsv 1/2 IGG, hepeselect type specific ab and it came back hsv 1 >1.10 EIA value positive and hsv-2 <0.90 negitive. Then my doctor told me to get tested again 3 months later. So I just went last week to a different lab. I went to ACL labs and I got my results back. All the sheet says is Herpes I/II IGG AB test. Both herpes 1 and 2 are positive. there are no values or any other information. is it possible I didn't get a type specific test and the results could be wrong. I have never had an outbreak or any kind of symptoms so I am a little sketchy on these results. Im really freaking out here.

IgG is type specific, you just didn't get the numbers back. You can get tested again with HerpeSelect, they bring back numbers.

Also I forgot to add that I have hsv 1 for sure. I have gotten cold sores as long as I can remember. The reason I got tested was because a girl who I had sex with said I gave it to her. she found out because she got meningitis. That was in the begining of aug. I got tested on oct 31st showing negitive for hsv-2. my hsv-1 was 4.94.
