help me please

about 3 years ago i went into my local health clinic and asked about some small flesh coloured bumps around my anus only small minor ones and she said that it may be hpv so i got treated for it and ever since then nothing has come back i have also had the same partner for the 3 years and he has never shown signs of anything. do you think that it could have been something else? please i am onto another guy and im afraid to tell him i have an std cause he wont hang out with me anymore but if i dont have it i wont have to tell him!

Nope, that's not true.  We used to think so, but now know that it will clear your body, usually within 2 years.

im confused, i was under the impression that once you have genital warts you always have them? this isnt true?

Even if it was HPV, it would be gone by now, so you don't have to share it with him.  Make sure that you both are tested for other stds though - your new guy could have something as easily as you could.
