hsv and syphliss

hi sir/mam i had high risk exposure with sex worker and she was hiv positive after six months i have done these test include hiv 4th generation elisa test also and all tests are negative , i want to know 6 months is appropriate to know about sti's and hiv or i have to take more time to chek?
