If you cannot accept this then please follow up with your own doctor for further evaluation and reassurance.
I had pretty much the same exposure as karimb, mutual masturbation involving vaginal fluid from a prostitute, I haven't had sex with my wife because I'm afraid of giving her something, what should I do!?!?
I would not anticipate any symptoms from Gono or chlamydia after this much time has passed and with negative test results. Again, not sure of your overall risk without you describing your exposure so I'm only speaking to Gono and Chlamydia. I hope this helps you move forward.
Which I should not have in the future since its been 16 days?
you can feel confident your test are accurate after 5 days. NAAT test are highly sensitive and can detect Gono and Chlamydia after 5 days. I would not worry about further testing unless you start having symptoms.
please start your own post or PM me. I cannot speculate on your situation.
Is 5 days 100% or 90% conclusive even if there was say unprotected vagimal sex?
Karimb who are you? I don't understand what you mean
That's what they girls did, even frottage is been known as no risk and that's why I got curious when you said there was a low risk,
masturbation with vaginal fluid doesn't carry a risk for Gono or Chlamydia.
I got a handjob with vaginal fluid, I don't know if I can trust my test 100% or re test before sex with wife? There is no more discharge, it was pre cum I believe.
You do not mention your exposure, but if you're symptom free after 17 days, you're most likely home free with chlamydia and gonorrhea. Symptoms typically appear within 3-14 days for these infections.
As far as other STD's I cannot guess without knowing your exposure.
Its been 17 days after the incident, can I expect syntoms now? Do I have to re test before having sex with my wife?
Sounds like this was a urine test done with NAAT. If so, these are highly sensitive and you can believe the results.
1) 5 days is enough time to be accurate for Gonno and Chlamydia
2) You can be sure the test is accurate
3) This doesn't sound like an issue. If you continue to have discharge throughout the day then it's an issue, but an isolated incidence doesn't mean anything.
4) No need to retest unless you start having symptoms
5) urination 1 hour prior to test is fine, the test is still accurate.
