odor after sex

I broke up with my boyfriend, it was not a horrible breakup. He always wanted to have sex and is still asking me to see him but I don't. I heard he had told someone that he broke up with me because I had hygene problems. I was mortified that for one, it made no sense for that to be true being he always wanted me. and 2 I am a hygene fanatic but it I still could even function with the worry so I went to see my doctor the next morning. He thought I was there for a full set of test because of a break up so I had all done. Then I said no and told him exactly what happened and why I was there. He looked puzzled and his exact words were " You have no discharge, your hygene is perfect and there is no odor, he giggled and said, " my face was right there so I would know "  I am glad to have had all test done but my question is this. Is there a reason why a women would have an odor right after intercoarse? like their juices? and if so  or not, is it possible to have it all the sudden? meaning this definately has not been an issue in my past. I can't even funtion without knowing everything just to make sure nothing he said was true. Please advise.

You will.  The only std's that are not curable are HSV, HPV, and HIV.  I just realized they all start with H.  Go figure.  Any how, the rest of them are curable with the correct medication and dosage.  

You would definitely notice the smell.  It is very hard to ignore.  I think you are fine.  Don't let this insecure guy get to you.

Thank you so much for your response.  This has upset me to no end. Yes, I heard this rumor last night and went to see my ob today. I am now believing he is upset about the break up but didn't want to admit. The things he has said today has lead me to believe that but the hurt and unnecessary heart ache and money he has caused me today is unforgivable. He has now lost a friend. Yes, the doctor said I have absolutely no problem with hygene and even laughed at my concern, in a sweet way.  All testing will be ready in 48 hrs. And hopefully if it is anything, its only BV because that is treatable, right?
But if it is, wouldn't I notice it too? especially as much of a smell fanatic that I am....
Yes, It makes me mad at men too. The horrible part is, this has effected me so much, I am not sure if I will have the courage to be intimate or trust again...he has no idea the damage he has done.

Bacterial Vaginosis.  Having a fishy smell right after intercourse is a good indication that a woman has developed it.  It is not an std.  But if your doctor tested you and said you were fine, then trust that.  It is possible that your ex has a natural odor that he is embarrassed about and is claiming that it came from you.  If that is the case, it is a good thing he is your ex.  And the next person that comes to you with that nonsense, tell them to mind their own business and if they need you can show them your clear std testing.  Things like this just make me mad at men all over again.  GRRRRR!
