Usually, you'll get a range, like 5-10, or 15-20, etc., if they are looking at this under a microscope. If they do a dipstick test, it won't show a number.
If you went to an std clinic, they will usually treat if one of those numbers is 5 or 10 or higher. A doctor's office will probably treat at 10 or higher.
There is room for discretion though. If you have 3-5, but are symptomatic, for example, they might treat, etc.

What's the threshold for white blood cells in the urine for this? If it's >0 or >100ppm or what? Is any count of white blood cells something to look at? I just took a pee test on Friday and am awaiting results so want to know what to question.
UTIs are uncommon in men, but you could have something called NGU, which is an infection in your urethra. This can happen when normal mouth bacteria enters your urethra.
You should get checked, and make sure they look for white blood cells in your urine.
