please help

I recently lost my virginity. We didnt use protection but he pulled out. We've done it about 7 times now (without condoms) and after the first few my vagina became irritated and itchy. i dont know what it is but it is always itchy, like the folds just outside the vaginal opening. I know that he has slept with 15 girls before me. Im confused as to whether or not i may have gotten some sort of infection or STD.

Girl - you should research the effects of STD's, look at as many pictures as possible, and read as much on this forum as you can before you go having unprotected sex again.  Believe me and MOST of the people here - the chances of you getting an STD from unprotected sex is unbelievably high.  So, just make sure anyone you sleep with wears a condom.  If the guy doesn't want to, it probably means he usually doesn't wear condoms during sex and it's very risky.  There are many STD's that hide out and still be transmitted.  Ignorance isn't bliss in this case, it's devistating.

Though it sounds like a yeast infection that you can get very easily, which if untreated can lead to kidney infections and end you up in the hospital.   You should get tested for anything and everything you can asap.  May want to wait on the HIV test like.  And for god's sake - use condoms against the STD's.

I agree.  It could just be yeast, but you both should be tested.

If you are in the US, you can go to Planned Parenthood or to your regular doc, or an std clinic.

Taking an STD test is wise, but waiting a week for an HIV test is not nearly long enough.  To have an accurate HIV test you should wait at least 6-8 weeks and even better 12.

You can test for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia now, though what you describe could easily be BV or a yeast infection, which can be brought on by sex but are not technically STDs.

In any event, get yourself looked at.  And do try to be cautious in the future, as 15 partners is quite a few and if he doesn't use protection, the odds are that he would have a STD by now.
