puffy pimple

I had a pimpleish lump above my groin and just under my hip for a few weeks.  I kind of popped it today and now there is a red line spread about inch from it.  It hurt a little.  I had protected sex about a week and half ago and the bump showed up right away.  I though it may be from the rubbing of the pubic hair

I jst got a rash with pimples on the line of my hip where it bends right between my stomach and my hip with a big bump that i just popped and puss keeps coming out what should i do???

Correct - cellulitis is a bacterial infection and not a std.

Thanks.  I had it checked and they gave me pills for celulitus?  they said that should clear it out.  They didn't think it was an std.  Hopefully they r right.

The red line sounds like a bacterial infection that you absolutely need to get checked out to make sure its not staph or MRSA.

it's probably an ingrown hair or irritation caused by friction. One time my gf had a little stubble downstairs and we had sex with her on top. It irritated the **** of the area just above my pubic hair, with a few white heads (ingrown hairs). As long as you used a condom you're probably fine. ALWAYS USE A CONDOM!!! Even though it feels much better without, always use it, I am having an std scare of my own right now because i didnt use a condom, the anxiety and paranoia isnt worth it, and half of the people sexually active have hpv... way scary.
