rash on penis

Hi I had unprotected sex about a year ago and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary  untill about 6 to 8 months ago. My urethra is now red and i have a red patch on the head of my penis that looks shiney and iterated  I also have spots that show up and dissapear within a day, occasionally it is itchy I went to see a dermatologist about 2 months ago and said that it just looked irritated and to come back if it didnt go away so I didn't think much of it until one day I went to pee and I got a horrible pain it was so bad I almost screamed luckily it hasn't happened since but now maybe every 2 days I have cloudy urine  I have anther appointment in a few weeks  and hopefully I can figure out what it is. What could it be??

No.  See your provider and discuss your fears with him.  But these really do no seem to be STD related.

Thanks for the reply. Do you think that my symptoms sound like gonorrhea i have read that it can cause cloudy urine and a red urethra. I will be seeing my dermatologist soon

Hello Ford

This does not seem STD related.
This seems to be just a simple yeast infection or dermatitis and nothing more.  Its a common thing and there is no need to worry.  You will be fine. Discuss your symptoms with the dermatologist and he will help you.
Please do not self examine.
