red bumps (shaving?) on pubic area

shaved a couple weeks ago and noticed that there is a bump on my pubic area now..I doubt it is HSV2 it just doesn't add u I shaved and then soon after the bump appeared maybe because i didnt use shaving cream or the blade was old and i used it on my face maybe the oil got into my pores helppp!!!!

I think you are missing the point of my response - I'm not talking about the intestinal infection that can cause you potentially serious illness.

Only if it's E. coli 0157:H7 strain. The MG1655 strain is completely normal GI flora.

bacteria that is normal in the oral facial area, isn't so normal in the genital area and vice versa.   you don't want to risk transferring e coli to your beard area do you?

I hear people say, "don't use the same razor on your face as you do on your genital area," Why? I mean, other than the obvious fact that it's kinda gross when you think about it...

really not much we can help you with with this to be honest. You need to be seen and get a proper exam done.  

you shouldn't be using the same razor on your face as you do on your genital area either.
