same proble,

hi..

My name is Wagimin. Yesterday, I went to Red Light District in Amsterdam. I made a big mistake in my life since I f**k the prostitute there. It was the first time for me to have sex. Now, I am afraid that I will have STDs since I do not feel comfortable with the area of my body above my organ vital, especially with my top of thigh. I am so afraid now that I am suffering from STD. To be truth, when I inserted my penis into her vagina, only in seconds I ejaculated (I used condom). I know that there is possibility to be infected by AIDS or STDs. Now, I am so afraid and I do not want to make the same mistake in my whole life.

Sorry...I do not mean to have two threads.

They said that they found GO in me (positive).
Now, I am still waiting for my result of Chlamydia.

I know that it can be cured. However, I am afraid that it will lead to the infection of HIV/AIDS. It makes me frustated.

They do the test of GO by inserting a cotton bud into my penis. It hurts me.
Before taking test, they ask me not to pee for 2 hours before the test.
Then, with the result, they told me that this bacteria is still in urine area (still not infect the blood).
I am afraid now.

Should I go to take another test or just see the doctor and ask for the treatment?

What does positive/negative mean?  Are they not sure you have it?

I might retest before taking the meds, if you haven't already.

And if you can, just reply to this thread, instead of having 2 different ones.  It makes it hard to keep up lol.

I have the result of the test.

HSV-2...negative.
Syphilis...negative.
Hep. B and C..negative

But, they found there is a bactery of GO (the result is positive/negative).

I get confused now.

Can Go be healed and gone forever?

Then go test.  Enough time has passed that you can have an accurate test for gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis.

I have a feeling you won't relax until you get these tests done, so go get them done.

dear guys,

until now, I am fine. I do not have any symptops but only anxiety which sometimes makes me so frustrated.
But, I know sometimes when I feel uncomfortable with my penis, it makes me nervous.
However, if I forget it, I feel fine without any problem.

I have a question..

Should I wait for any symptop or just go to the doctor to have a test?
I just want to have a normal life now.

Thanks.

sorry...what I meant is it should be a wound or is it enough for dry skin in penis to be considered as symptoms of std?

Thanks.

I don't know what to say about your skin stuff, because I don't know what it is.

I do know that if you had it before your encounter with the woman, and that was your first time, then its not an std.

Thanks..

Yeah...I am so panic. I regret myself to do the stupidity like that.
From the information that I heard, sex workers in Red Light District Amsterdam are regularly checked and they always make the customers to use condom. Even, when I tried to kiss her genital, she refused it and I do not smell something bad from her genital area. I hope it is a rule.

But, anxiety is what I am feeling now. Really...I am so crazy about that. However, I am trying to be strong, but it is hard for me to concentrate. Now, I am taking the positive thing from this situation. About the things in my penis skin, should they be scab first then become a dry skin or it can directly become a dry skin? Can you tell me about this (whether a dry skin will lead to a scab or STD, herpes symptoms)?

If you do not mind, I will give any information about my condition after I do the test.

Waiting 3 weeks is probably for syphilis testing.  Gonorrhea and chlamydia can be detected about 3-5 days after infection.  HIV  can take 3 months.

I don't know if your country has a herpes blood test, but ask about antibody testing for herpes.

But lets keep some perspective.  You used a condom, and if I'm not mistaken, aren't the sex workers in your country regulated?  Don't they have to test regularly?  It doesn't mean that you don't have something, but that would mean your chances just went way down.

You are panicking needlessly.  If you've had these symptoms before, its not going to be an std.

I am just checking myself, then I find out that there is an irritation on my penis skin. Besides that, there are small things. I know that I usually have the same problem, but this time I am afraid that it because of STD. Sometimes, I feel itchy and I want to touch it.

Now, I am really afraid. I feel anxiety.

Is there any suggestion?

Today..I went to see a doctor and she told me that I have to wait for 3 weeks to get a test for STDs and for 3 months for HIV/AIDS. She told me that it is for seeing the incubation period. She told me that herpes cannot be examined/tested, unless there are lesions.

Really, it makes me crazy. I am so worried. That's why I feel uncomfortable with the lower part of my stomach. Now, waiting for the days to get examined is stressful.

It seems that I ruin my life now.

By the way, thanks for giving me information. Tomorrow, I must leave Netherlands with carrying a disease (although, I hope not).

Well, you might not ever see lesions.  Go to the doc now, and ask for testing.  All you will probably have to do is pee in a cup and get some blood drawn.

Not a big deal, and you don't want to take meds for something you don't need.  There have been new strains of antibiotic-resistant infections because so many people use antibiotics without really knowing if they need them or not.

Thanks..

I hope I do not have any infection of STD. Really, i am scared.
Is it better for me to wait for the lesions or directly to see the doctor?

Fear can cause physical pain, tingling, etc. Think about this as an example:

a. You see a spider crawling on your pants
b. You knock it off
c. For the next 2 hours you feel like something is crawling on you until you forget about it
d. Your mind searches for every sensation and amplifies it

If you constantly worry about your genitals you will get the same result

Some people get treated without tests. It is not the most responsible medical decision in terms of the use of antibiotics. However, it would take care of any bacterial STD.

It would not affect Herpes. However you should not be worried about that unless you see lesions. Read the Expert STD forum for descriptions of symptoms. You should get in the habit of getting tested for all STDs including Herpes every year or six months, especially if you have multiple sex partners.

You wouldnt come to any real conclusion with out the tests.  In other words you would be taking treatment for something that may not be the issue.

Thanks..

Really, it makes me crazy. I am so afraid.
However, I must deal with it and tomorrow, I plan to see a doctor, although there is nothing wrong with me now, except the feeling of discomfort in pelvis area and fear.

Is there anyone can tell me the sympthoms? Is it OK to take medicine from the doctor without doing any test, since I would like to have only a consultation and ask the medicine?

If you used a condom, infection would be rare. Anyone that is sexually active should get tested for STDs. This is a good time to do so. Get tested for

Gonorrhea, Chlamidia, and Syphillis - After 5 days

If you have lesions, go back and get them tested by the doctor. Do not pick at them or the doctor will not be able to adequately test them.

If you are afraid, the fear can cause you to feel discomfort. It can be in your mind.

You wouldn't have any symptoms of an STD show up one day after exposure.

The condom helped protect you a lot, so I wouldn't worry so much.

Thanks...

Anyhow, I am feeling uncomfortable with my pelvis area. Is it the symphtom of STDs ?
I am so afraid now..really. It makes me crazy. What should I do then?

Well if you used condom then the risk of STD is low unless the condom broke.
