so confused help
so i had unprotected sex one time with a friend. After 3 weeks i got symptoms of a yeast infection. I was given flagyl cream after taking flagyl by mouth 4 days and having effects. also given DIFLUCAN 2 times once for when i started flagyl and one for last dose. After the meds i seemed to have new symptoms. I have swollen areas just inside of my vagina. I have had all std test done twice now all neg. The doc cant seem to figure out what is wrong i was also treated for Chlamydia and gonorrhea with a one time shot and doxycyclene 2 times a day for 10 days. even tho the test were negative. so i have been on 4 rounds of meds that clear up most std's even tho the test were all neg. BUT i am still having a swollen and irritated feeling down there with no doc to help me. What could this be... im beyond the anxiety for it and just in a panic.
are they testing you for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally each time you are seen?
