Zpack for oral STD cure

I provided oral sex to a male about 3 months ago. He said he was clean, but you just never know. I never had any lesions or sore in my mouth, so i doubt i got herpes or syph (because syphillis is low chance anyways) but i have had a couple sore throats since then and some sore lymph nodes in my neck. Now, I know this could be normal, a cold, or stress, but i also know, there is a small chance it could be gonorrhea. During the last three months I got an exteremly bad cold and was prescribed a Zpack by a doctor. Would this have cured anything in my throat? Also, i read on the Dr.'s forum that oral gonorrhea can clear itself up after about 3 months, is this true? Thanks for your inputs!

I would not worry to much about it. But you can always get a throat swab and get tested.

Ok, so i don't think I have an oral STD, but sometimes that thought creeps into my mind, everytime a sore throat pops up. When can I know I'm in the clear. I mean it's been practically three months . . . should I just stop worrying and move on? I haven't done anything sexual since then. I'm healthy. Every once in awhile my throat hurts a little, it could be all in my head for all I know.
What do you think?
Stop worrying?

The Zpack might do the trick, no guarantee since it is not the recommended cure.
I go by what the Dr's say of the oral gonorrhea clearing up on it's own.
