sore throat for 2 yrs
hi dr,
i had unprotected sex around 2 yrs ago.after unprotected sex with in 3 weeks i had complain abt sore throat.its already been 2 years sore throat never goes.there are some red lumpy spot on the back wall of throat.every morning i wake up wid dry and irritating throat pain sometimes i feel like something stuck in my throat .i tried all antibiotics but not relief even i had penicillin injection and capsules no relief at all. i hve done hiv test hepitites a,b all came negative. looking for help.

thkz gracefromhhp i had problem of heart burn too and choking throt but it all started after 1 yrs of sore throat not before.. i had nexium now im ok..but sore throt still not have..sometime i feel like something is in my troat like lump of meat..doctor checked it and said its not cancer.. everything is ok..but still same thing. don't know wht to do..is it tonsillities??
you need to see an ENT specialist and follow up as needed with them.
as jessy already said, no std will cause throat symptoms for 2 years!
odds are this is either allergies, GERD or a chronic sinusitis going on, not anything related to unprotected sex.
