I would assume you are negative, and I think you can safely assume that.
False negatives can happen, but they aren't common at all.

Okay, I just reread my question and it didn't make sense...
So what I will say again - even if you get a "negative" on your std/sti testing and you have no symptoms, would you still think there is a possibly of having an std? Or should your confidence still lie with the adminstered test? (With the appropriate time frame passed of course.)

Still alittle paranoid over my own issue but I have tested negative the past two years so... Pap PCR DNA Tests so...plus blood drawn for Syph and HIV.
Yes, you can safely assume that, assuming the appropriate time frame has passed for the infection.

What if you have no symptoms and you test "negative" - should you also not consider it as 100%?
