ulcers

was discharging from my penus my doctor put me on antibiotic tetracycline hcl 500mg for 7 days was ok then i started discharging again . he then put me  on amoxi/clavu pt875mg augmentin for 10 days .  after i would say 5days started noticing a few red pimples on my foreskin of my penus not the head . i am not circumsized . noticed when in the shower the tip of the pimple got white and the skin peeled off and are a few small skin craters with a little liquid ozzing out . do you think this is herpes or an alergic reaction to the penecillian . this the first time i took any form of penecillian. was ok with the first antibiotic and good for about 5 days with the amoxi when i noticed the pimples. what do you think?

I'd be seen and make sure that indeed they are fungal related for starters. Many otc antifungals but you have to make sure that that is what is going on.

you need to follow up with proper testing for std's. Since you've had antibiotics that don't properly treat std's but might interfere with results, wait at least 2 weeks after you've last had an antibiotic to get tested for gonorrhea, chlamydia and ngu properly. I'd chose a doctor other than the one you've been seeing for this.

odds are this is a yeast infection from the antibiotics you were given. The ones you were put on so far are better at causing yeast overgrowth in the genital area than they are at treating infections in the genital area :(

did they do any actual testing of your discharge or just throw the wrong antibiotics at you in hopes that it helped?
