on going problems after sex with a prostitute

5 and a half months ago I received unprotected oral and had protective sex with a prostitute. The sex only lasted a minutes as noticed she had got blood on my upper penis shaft so I stopped and she claimed she must of just came on her period. This was the first person I'd slept with for 7 years other than my long term girlfriend who we had just split up. After 4 days I got intense penis irritation which felt like it was inside my penis. To this day it hasn't stopped. I haven't had any discharge but have had uti symtoms such as urge to pee and lymph nodes swollen and sore in my groin but that has now gone. I got tested for chlamyidia and can and has blood test for HIV,syphillis, and heb b and c at day 80 after exposure but all negative. I was given 1 g dose of antibiotics as doctors detective inflammation in penis but no std. It didn't help. Within a week I developed pressure between my scrotum and anus which is constant and I have to put a pillow between my knees to get to sleep. Its a horrible sensation. I do have the urge to urinate but only 100 - 200ml comes out which isn't much. It feels like a lot more should come up out. I'm also waking up twice every night which is annoying. I booked doctors appointment and he gave me a prostate exam as the pressure between my anus and scrotum was making just sitting/driving very uncomfortable and he thought it may be prostitus but my prostate didn't hurt when touched. He gave me 500mg of ciproflaxin 2wice a day as this is standard for prostitus for 4 weeks but it hasn't helped at all leading me to think that its an std that hasn't been detected. It would explain why this antibiotic hasn't helped. Its really confusing and irritating, I just want my normal life back. Has anyone got any ideas what this could be? The coincidence between having a new sexual partner and this is too much to ignore. Thank you for any response

I have the same problem and sadly I have passed this onto my partner who does not know I once slept with a prostitute. STI tests come out negative and doctors do see the link but seems like they are just clueless. Hope someone comes up with an answer soon

I wish it was anxiety. Perhaps in the beginning I was slightly stressed but five and a half months later I'm just fed up with it. Not being able to sit down from the pressure I feel and having to sleep with pillows between my legs because of the discomfort cannot be caused by anxiety. Thanks for your input but this is real

There's nothing to add to the multiple other replies you have had to the same questions, both on this forum and others.

I agree your symptoms are not a coincidence with the sexual exposure. But only through an anxiety/emotional connect.  You have no infection from that event and never did. That's why the ciprofloxacin made no difference.

Sorry to be blunt, but you're never going to get a clear answer on line, either in this forum or elsewhere, and almost certainly not from further medical evaluation and/or treatment. Professional counseling is the only logical step at this point.

Good luck with it.
