what could be wrong

i am 26 y/o male who has had unprotected vaginal, oral, and anal sex with one partner starting about 1 1/2 months ago till about 2 weeks ago
i began to feel a pinching pain in my penis toward the tip mainly and also had sore/achy testicles
i went for std testing and initially only got gonnarhea and chylamidia...both came back negative
then went to a urologist. who took a urine sample, visually inspected me and checked my prostate. he concluded nothing wrong.
then went and tested for syphillis, herpes, and hepatitis b.  results were negative again, however, 2 days after the last test (herp., syph., and hep.b) my top lip began tingling so i figured a cold sore was coming on. i have never had one that i can remember.  immediately i started taking lysine pills and using abreva and a topical lysine treatment . the cold sore never really developed and has been about 10 days.
my question is how could a cold sore develop if i took a herpes test 2 days prior that turned out negative
and what is this pinching pain in my penis.
pinching pain still occurs every once in while during day(off and on but not constant) but do not have sore testicles anymore

I don't know which problem you are referring to, but you do need to get it checked.

Here is a great post by StillHurt, who has these same issues -

i have not had my semen tested...
i thought that maybe i suppressed the coldsore because of the lysine pills, abreva, and lysine+ lipclear ointment i was putting on it.
as far as it being a new infection...i do believe that  is true, and thats kinda what i thought was that i was gonna have to wait longer for a correct blood test

Well, I would have thought prostate, but you said that your doc did a prostate exam, and it was fine.

Have they tested your semen to look for any bacteria in it?

What you have doesn't sound like a cold sore if its lasted this long and hasn't formed into anything.  Maybe you have a pimple.  I don't mean to sound dismissive, but not everything on your lip is herpes.

You could still have herpes and test negative for it.  It takes up to 4 months to develop antibodies, so if its a new infection, it might not show up on the test yet.
