About a month ago I started having unprotected sex with a man. We usually have vaginal intercourse, but we have tried (for like just a minute) anal sex. About a week ago I have been experiencing itching in my vagina, and my inside of the labia is very irritated and has little red tiny pores raised and itchy. My vagina has also been experiencing cuts, because I think I've been scratching it a lot. I am currently on my period and the itching hasn't stopped for over a week. My anus has been experiencing cuts, and i found a white little bump inside it which looks like a pimple. My partner has little red spots on his balls and penis(none on the head, he is circumcised) which he says were itchy. I went to my family doctor who sad it might be YEAST INFECTION but I am worried!what could it be?

many infections , both fungal and bacterial, you can be sharing. both of you following up properly on your symptoms monday is the best thing you can do.

nothing you've mentioned sounds like you both have genital herpes causing this either.

a pap test really isn't appropriate testing for anything that would be causing this.

your partner will need to follow up also.

i got a pap test im waiting for results on monday my partner told me his penis now has kind of like a dry exema rash....he didnt get tested...i just got a pap. do those symptoms sound like anything?
