Recurrences of new symptoms

Ive been having recurrences of symptoms that has me on alert.
5 Months ago -- Encounter was unprotected penis to buttocks grinding including ejaculation. Fluid was spilled between buttocks, upper thighs and a bit on vaginal opening. Rash appeared on buttocks, convinced it was herpes. 6 weeks after encounter, we went to quest lab and his HSVI/II IGG negative. Even with the negative tests, I’m anxious about the nature and timing of these symptoms.
Once a month for 1-2 weeks before my period:
• Itching and burning mostly in one particular spot on the top left of the inner labia majora. Usually minor but sometimes intensely itchy for 30sec – 2 min then subsides. The intense wave happens up to a few times a day.
• Sometimes burning and tingling in other areas such as the surface of the vagina, the vaginal opening and inner buttocks
• Slight redness on labia and on both sides next to vagina
• Stinging feeling near vaginal opening and on inner labia
• Red bumps on buttocks mostly unchanged in texture, but did notice a group of two that felt burny and progressed to a scab
• Temperature elevated during these episodes, up to about 99.1
During the first episode of these problems I immediately went to be examined by a nurse. She did a vaginal exam and saw “Some redness and white discharge, but not convinced it is yeast”. A full vaginal panel and nothing for yeast, BV, trich, gon, etc. No answers except to put cream on the itch (which I haven’t done). All problems last 1-2 weeks then go away until a month later.
More bumps on fingers.
• A single white bump on finger. On the front left side, just above the first knuckle, below the nail.
• White with a slightly red base. Looks like a blister UNDER the skin, not opened.
• Good – no pain, no tenderness even when poking and squeezing. Unchanged in size, texture or feeling in a week.
• Bad – I can’t think of any explanation since the location isn’t where a typical injury blister would appear. It does look a bit like the first picture in this example. http://www.skinsight.com/adult/herpeticWhitlow-signsAndSymptoms.htm
• Other bumps I noticed on my thumb in my post before looked a little bit like this http://www.drhull.com/EncyMaster/W/herpetic_whitlow.html
Herpes tests post exposure times
• 3 Days - Combined HSVI/II  IGG 0.4
• 12 Weeks - Combined HSVI/II  IGG 0.3
• 17 Weeks – HerpeSelect from Quest IGG HSVI/II <0.9
Questions:
1. I have an upcoming annual exam. It will be 6 months post exposure. Should I tell them NOT to run the combined herpes test again, in fear of chances of a false positive? Should I order a Western Blot or nothing altogether?
2. A dermatologist said I have slight tinea on my upper back. Is it possible this is also located around my vagina and buttocks, and causing the discomfort and redness in/on/around my labia?
3. I am currently not having sex. But, is there any risk of spreading anything to a new partner by hand to genital finger insertion (heavy / long duration), and fully clothed grinding?
4. Does whitlow always cause pain and rupture progressing to a scab? Is there anything in the description that rules out whitlow?
5. How do I eliminate STDs as a cause and forget about all of this? I’m seeing a psychiatrist which helps a little bit but I am still having panic attacks and anxiety.

Thanks in advance, I appreciate your assessment.

Thanks Grace.

I was finally convinced after my 17 week test. But then I started having the itching and burning and that's why my anxiety returned.

Thanks again for all of your help with this.

it's been too long since your original post on the experts forum to it was bumped over to here.

whitlow hurts like a s.o.b.  your symptoms on your hand don't sound like whitlow.  if you are concerned, be seen promptly.

you've tested negative repeatedly for herpes. why can't you let it go?
