Is this normal?

I had sex monday night and it was the first time i had sex in 4 months. The day after i was very sore down there. Today is wednesday and it seems like I am getting a yeast infection. I am getting worried thinking I have something more serious. We used a condom and we actually didn't finish all the way bc it began to hurt since it has been so long since I have done it. Should I be worried and is it common to get a yeast infection after intercourse.

yeast infections are very common, nothing to worry about. just get it treated and you'll be fine.

Thanks for your comments. I just took a vagisal screening kit and it says i may have a yeast infection. I just hope it is nothing else more serious, but I have been told symptoms wouldn't show up that fast. I just have some discharge and a little irritated down there. Do you think I am overthinking this

It's fairly common to get infections after sex, like UTIs, yeast infections, etc. Get it checked and then get the treatment, if needed. Good luck.
