what are these bumps?

I am 20 years old and over the past 6 months I have noticed little bumps near my vagina, but not inside. I thought at first that they were ingrown hairs (I usually shave there area once or twice  week, completely... not a fan of hair.).  Like I said, I thought they were ingrown hairs and popped them like i usually do.  But they stayed.  When one would disappear, another would come up in another place.  Now there are about four of them.  They are not painful or itchy.  I had a Pap Test down about 4 months ago and the doctor didnt seem concerned about the bumps at all.
They are a pinkish tint with a white center ( pimples?) When I pop them a little bit of puss and blood comes out and its done.
Does anyone have any idea what these embarassing bumps can be??? Any help would be greatly appreciated..
Thanks!
