ED and in search of help ,please !

Greetings all ,my thanks for allowing me to join your discussions. I am a 48 year old white male who receives my medical care through a US Veterans Hospital. I am fairly healthy having quit smoking 13 years ago. I am 5'11" in height and weight about 185 (33" waist). I have been beating my head against the wall so to speak in trying to figure out this ED that I suffer from. I also use to suffer from extreme and constant fatigue and loss of strength. I no longer have the fatigue problem and my strength is back thanks to Testosterone Therapy having boosted my T levels to about 780. Even so I still suffer from the ED. I can achieve about a 3/4 errection but never a fully very hard erection. The one I do achieve require much effort on my part ,if not I will loose the errection as quick as it came. My ejaculate fluid has also greatly declined and is now only a very small amount. The expulsion force of my ejaculation is also very very very low to where it does not shoot out but more or less dribbles out . The thumping feeling normally felt during the ejaculation is also now for me usually one very faint thump and thats it im done. When I say my volume is down I mean way down as in less than 1 ml of fluid . These problems existed prior to my being put on medical injectable testosterone which did fix my fatigue and strength issues 100% but did nothing for these sexual problems.
Now for the reason I am beating my head against the wall (so to speak) over this is . In the past I have tried Viagra then Cialis and they did absolutely nothing for me even after several tries with each . The I tried Levitra and the first time I took it I was overjoyed it worked so well that I was just elated and speechless, I though I had finally found the cure. The big letdown was in finding it only worked that well for me the very first time. After that reuse of Levitra gave me substandard results. I am at a loss in how a drug can work so unbelievably well the first time it is take but then fail all following times. I am due to see a VA Urologist in July and would love some thoughts and ideas to discuss with him or her on this matter ,Please ???? My only other health problems are: I use a cpap for sleep apnea, My tryglycerides are at 300 and I am working to lower that. I also have spondylolisthesis L5 on s1, have bone spures and some calcification between vertabraes at base of neck. On the matter of L5 on s1 I do have some minor spinal cord pinching and chronic low back spasms. I had one Physician assistant at the VA tell me that the pinching of cord at L5 S1 is high enough up that it would not be causing any ED symptoms, I would not know if this is true or not. I just find it very odd that Levitra would actually have such a beautiful and very positive therapeutic outcome on the first and initial use but then no more after that ????? Please advise ,and thoughts will be sincerely appreciated .

My thanks for the good info . I will check it all out. I know many  times as men we are left to find these solutions on our own. Sadly the medical field takes to many negative stances on mens sexual health. I say that as I read story after story about men who have went to physicians about decreased ejaculate volume. From what I read 99.9% of these men are told that if they are not trying to make a child this should not be an issue. These same men are also told that diminished ejaculate volume is also simply a matter of aging. Gladly speaking for all men this is all a bunch of BS and its time we stood up for what we are by our very biological makeup. It should make no difference weather a man is trying to make a child or not ,both his erections and ejaculate volume are a large part of his alpha male status. To say these diminish with age is also BS .  Proof of this is in the fact that not all male have such declines with age. If it were part of the aging process then it would happen to 100% of human male species but it does not. Their are reasons for the declines however the medical field has not found these reasons yet and given that it is easier to simply say it is normal decline as a result of aging rather than to say we have no idea why this happens. Our hope as men is they will find these reasons someday perhaps after I am long gone but hopefully someday. I do know that if I were to walk in to a physicians office  and was willing to pay for a fix out of pocket no matter the cost , the last thing i would want to hear is that I did not need a normal ejaculate volume since I am no longer fathering children.
Again though my many thanks for the info NOHARD . I will definite read further . I am always reading on this matter . Just the other day I saw something very interesting . I take Pravastatin for high cholesterol. The article I read says that it is not uncommon for Levitra to have a much better result on those taking Lipitor . It may be worth me looking into changing having my cholesterol meds switched from Pravastatin to Lipitor .

Take Care

OK see if this helps, I'm now in ED recovery and I did on my own as I live in Greece, just done lots of reading, and I did all with herbs and hormons, if you google this title DRUS VERSUS HERBS, HERBS MY CHOICE, it will take you to my post by just following the instrctions you find, with this it needs to become a way of life, but its the cheapest way you can find, lots of night time and morning boners, and as a back up I have a hardwear ice c**k ring and this gives me some fantastic boners, just google hardwear ice and it will take you to there site.
Good Luck

My many thanks for you well written reply . I had never related the ED to Triglycerides but that does make sense. I am due to see Uro at my Veterans Hospital in about a week and will bring this up. With me the ED has other issues as well. I had a vasectomy years ago so sperm is not an issue but I have noticed that my ejaculate volume in the past 2 years or so had had a major decline to often less that 1 ml  and on emission of it their is basically no force .My problem along with the diminished volume and force of expulsion I barely feel any part of the orgasim it is so weak its as if it did not even happen. Those thumping contractions most men feel during orgasm are now near none existent for me literally . So between these thing and the ED I am at a loss as to why and appreciate all and any advice so again my sincere thanks for your reply.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
What you are having is erectile dysfunction and due to high triglyecrides levels, it is important to rule out any cardiovascular disease which may cause both of these. The other causes are many like diabetes, depression, autonomic nervous system problem, excessive alcohol ingestion or tobacco smoking etc. You may need to consult your doctor to see which amongst these causes are responsible for your problem.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
