HELP!! I Have an itch and sores

I have an itch that comes and goes.

its at the top about a half inch above my clitoris. I use to shave normally, but then stopped and then started again and when it was growing back to its full length I noticed that when I wiped I felt a small sting and then the itch started. I looked and noticed I had cuts in that area small red cuts. I have already had this three times. I have only just recently experienced this. I don't use tight pants, tight undies, thongs, or anything or that sort. I am a baggy person and like my baggy cloths. And i just want to know is it something to be worried about or should I start doing something different? Could it be the soap I use to wash my self out? Any help and advice is welcomed. Thanks

Thanks, that soap I have been using is just a SUAVE : FRESH BERRY SMOOTHIE. I use to use a bar soap Irish Spring(s)? And then switched to that because it's all I have. I think that might be it. I also haven't shaved in a month and a half and still have the little cuts. So, I don't know maybe its the soap. Thanks for your help.

Based on what you've posted, the shaving sounds like a likely culprit for the itching. The skin around your clitoris is so wrinkly and loose that it's easy to nick with a razor, no matter how careful you are. The coming and going is likely you re-irritating it each time you shave. Be careful using soap, as highly perfumed soaps (anything with strong chemicals) can actually do more damage than the good it achieves for shaving.

Think about trimming. I used to shave, but hated how hard it was on the skin - rawness, itching, irritation, ingrown hairs, etc. An alternative that my partner and I both enjoy is trimming. I even have a small electric trimmer for the bikini line that works quite well in cutting the hair to a very short length, without stretching and nicking the skin. Think about switching to this, and give your skin some time to heal (like you would for any cut on any other part of your body). Good luck!
