Vaginal tear during finger sex any advice?

I was being fingered by my bf and he scratched the inside of my vagina pretty good. Enough to make it bleed what should I do now? I just came back from the doctor and seriously cant afford to go again.
Any advice or has this happened to anyone before

Don't risk him doing it again, I was with someone a long time who would do that deliberately, so I know it heals just keep everything out of it for now. The vagina (inside)is self cleaning generally speaking, don't mess with the natural balance & you should be fine..... so NO DOUCHING!! It's really not good & can cause yeast infections if you do. Leave it to heal but if you are really worried speak to your doctor. X

Hey folks. This has happened to me as well. The best thing you can do to quit the itching is a) use some white vinegar diluted half and half with water (to lessen the sting) and dab it on the area. It will sting a little, but the hurt and itch will go away. Vinegar is great for restoring the pH balance in your vagina too.
If you want something to last a little longer when you can't always duck into the bathroom, buy some VagiCaine cream (available at drug stores). The house brand works just as well as the name brand. Brands don't mean a thing when it comes to making you feel better.
And when possible, take a packet of intimate wipe moist cloths (or whatever they're officially called) with you to treat yourself right when you go, instead of using the paper. I know, and you know - that paper can HURT.

wait until its fully healed as this may tear it back open again. and yes any open wound can cause infection. keep an eye out for possible signs of infection. what did your doc. say. they would know best :)

I've had the same thing to me... I used a douche to mitigate the discomfort and minimize the possibility of infection. Sex shouldn't be a problem... but, avoid the "fingering," for the time being.

Let the scratch heal.  Any type of scratch that you keep rubbing is not going to heal slowly if at all.  So no sex (an object lesson on for him perhaps?) and next time just be careful.

Thank you,
I'm just wondering if I should or could do something for discomfort.
Also if anyone knows if this can cause an infection if I have (safe) sex again on Saturday.

It should heal by itself, so don't really worry about it. Though next time make sure his fingers aren't real rough(no hangnails, no nonclipped nails, etc)...
