sexual health

Well this morning when i got out of the shower i realized that i had a bump near my vaginal area. I usually get them from shaving or watever but this is bigger than a just a hair bump. It doesent hurt or anything it does however itch a little bit and im guessing thats because i kno its there and i wanna keep picking with it. Im thinking it from wearing too many layers of clothes and it came from sweating down there or it could still be a hair bump. I use protection when i have sex so i wouldnt think it was an std and hope its not so tell me wat do you thing it is?....

Please don't have sex with anyone until you know for sure, you don't want to spread it or make that person miserable if it is an std such as herpes which has no cure. It would be wrong of you to do this knowing it could have been an std but still taking the risk of having sex and contaminating the other person, coming from someone who actually has an STD.
P.S I just seen how long ago this post was made! Still going to comment just in case anyone else is going through this they can still read my answer!!

WELL I'VE BEEN MONITORIN IT FOR THIS PAST WEEK OR SO AND ITS HAS GONE DOWN. I BELIEVE ITS PROLLY THE RAZOR I USED WHEN I SHAVED AND I DO HAVE VERY SENSITIVE SKIN AND MAYBE I SHOULDNT HAVE USED THAT RAZOR. BESIDES I REALLY HOPE ITS AN IN GROWN HAIR. IM SO SCARED IF I WAS TO GO TO THE DOC AND FIND OUT ITS AN STD. IVE NEVER HAD ONE OF THOSE IN MY LIFE AND I WOULD FREAK OUT...!

For a woman, the best person to diagnose and treat this uncomfortable situation is a Gynecologist or a regular doctor will do just fine also.  I recommend that you go to a gynecologist and get yourself checked out. It can be anything from an ingrown hair to a possible STD, but it will be necessary to schedule a visit with your doctor who will be able to properly diagnose and treat this problem.  Good luck!   Judy

Well, wearing protection isn't a 100% way to avoid STDs.  There are STDs out there which are transmitted through skin contact, so if your partner was wearing a condom but it only partially covered the shaft you can still get it.

Go to a sexual health expert or a dermatologist.
