I had my second daughter exactly a year ago and I have my second iud in for 8 months now and my periods have been regular, except a couple days ago I was moody and sad for no reason at all so I guessed it was pms sure enough the next morning I started spotting thought it was my period but it only lasted about a half hour to an hour and very light spotting and the. Went away completely and I have no cramps bloating pms or anything and about 5-6 before that me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex could that possibly have been implantation bleeding that I had with both my daughters has anyone gotten pregnant on the Iud?

Hello,
Implantation bleeding does not occur 6 hours after sex and this spotting looks like due to hormonal effects causing spotting. It should go away after some time. If the spotting persists then get an evaluation done from a gynecologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
