Most people with a foot fetish includes it in there sexual acts, or even helps them to come to that point of total satisfaction. Then there are others who have a foot obsession to were they can lay under someone's feet for hours without taking there cloths off at all. Almost like being in a different world by feeling secure, or having a calm affect from the scent the feet gives out. No one really knows why it calms our hormones, or gets the hormones very active. I know in my case, I divide the two. I am able to have a sexual relationship without touching the person's feet at all. Then on the other hand, I love the scent of feet when I go to sleep and not involve any sexual act. Yet, I have no interest in feet when I know there clean, or when someone walks around bare footed or in open toe shoes. There are many different aspects in people with this type of problem. All I know is, it has a great control over me that I can't help or need. I had this even at the age of 5, and now I reach 60. Nothing has changed, and I never grew out of it. The thing about foot obsessions is, if you can't control it to some point, then after a while, it don't matter who's feet you go after or who they are. I've heard of some people who will do anything at all just to be under someone's feet. People don't realize that some people with foot obsessions can be very controlled by it. Even to the point of changing there life's. The real problem is to find someone who don't mind it when so many people are closed minded about it. Yet they can accept drug problems, alcohol issues and even mental abuse. They just can't accept something that isn't harmful or look at it as helping someone with this issue.

There is nothing wrong with a fetish until it becomes harmful (causing pain to yourself or others, risking health problems due to ingesting various bodily fluids, or engaging in any sort of sexual activity that involves anyone under the age of 18).  There is alot of great info already here on this.  I do not personally have any fetishes that I would call a fetish... tho I do enjoy certain off-center activities, along with my husband.  Here's what I say: float your boat, just be safe and legal about it. :)

I have a big fetish for leather and PVC and also puffa jackets, dont ask me why I have had the fetishes from as far back as I can remember. Girls wearing big hoop earrings turn me on (yeah I know the chav look shoot me!) I also like lots bling on a girl for e.g. necklasses, bracelets, shiny silver watches all of these perfectly harmless fetishes.

There are some really weird fetishes out there though one particular site I visit sometimes for my fetishes also lists other stuff that I would never touch like peeing, poo eating, spitting and various other ones that made me think eurgh! but hey ho each to their own I say.

I used to work as an adult chat line operator and believe me, a foot fetish is probably the most common one seen other than being dominated or a bit of bondage.

There are all kinds of fetishes out there, ranging from the common to the odd-to-anyone-but-people-with-that-fetish.

I've seen everything rnaging from bondage, through urination fetishes (of various kinds, yes there are lots of types) a vomit fetish once or twice, various fabrics, the guy who liked me to stamp on fruit in high heels, the one who probed his urethra with a metal rod, the one who had to have his wife listening to the call (probably a bit exhibitionist) the one who wanted me to scream, the one who wanted me to call him "commander", the one who pretended he was a horse, the food fetishist (messy), the one who wanted me to be a virgin *every* time he called even though he called at least once a week and one man known only as "the chicken guy" who liked to pretend he was a chicken being killed and eaten.

Technically anything can be a fetish and anyone can have one, I'm female and personally i have a thing for long dark fingernails and bright red lipstick on women and men in jeans with no shirt on, i also like to be dominated quite strongly and have a thing for the feel of fur and silk against my skin. I also have one particulalry strong fetish which i'd rather not name because i'm suddenly shy. Lol.

Regarding relationships, my husband is more than happy to accomodate my odd one, and i'm perfectly happy to accomodate his quirks, just reach a compromise with your partner, it may turn out they're into it too! You never know.

Pick the most disgusting thing you can think of an type ".com" after it - you'll get a website catering to it. The most extreme thing I can think of are people (mostly guys but some females) who get off on eating another person's defecation. They lie under a makeshift toilet seat and eat everything that comes out. The greater the degradation and humiliation, the higher the thrill.

There's even a range within foot fetishism. Some guys are happy just to smell and kiss feet while others like BBW's to trample them. For any particular guy, their fetish usually evolves to the more extreme over time because they always need a new level of excitement.

Fetishes aren't always incompatible with relationships. My wife of over 30 years always hated normal sex, especially after the kids came. She's always willing to indulge my foot fetish whenever I'm in the mood to keep me from pestering her for it.

Bondage is considered a fetish and you might be surprised to see just how many women are into bondage and spanking.

There are plenty of fetishes around eg CFNM ,Femdom , Bondage ,japanese schoolgirls (over 18) ,superheroines  , shoes etc

The japanese seem to have the stangest fetishes

women don't seem to be as interested in fetishes than men (I'm no expert) "tickling" fetish seems to be something that appeals to women

Women seem to be able remain single for years without turning to fetishes , but as a single man I don't have the same willpower

I don't think fetishes are compatible with relationships - it doesn't suit me , but what other people get up to is of no concern to me

so I haven't looked at fetish sites for a while - when I used to spend all day on them

Why do men use the term "porn" rather than "fetish" - I'm not interested in porn and most fetish material seems to be non-nude

I have been interested in fetishes while I've been single and not looking for a partner

I'm not interested in "foot fetish" although I mentioned it in another post as an example

have you seen this post about foot fetish http://www.medhelp.org/posts/show/397263

what would you do in those circumstances ?
