I am 19 and have always experienced intense pain during intercourse and this last time I had sex I noticed some bleeding afterwards...What could cause this and could sex be harmful to me?

It was just spotting..and lubrication isnt an issue..it was just odd bc this has never happened before and the pain in this instance was nowhere near as bad as it has been in the past...

He could be hitting your cervix and thats whats causing the pain? I know for me when I get hit in the cervix, its hurts like hell at first and takes a bit for the pain to subside Your best bet is to stop in to get checked out by your doctor to make sure everything is okay. Was it a lot of bleeding, or just light/spotting? Have you made sure that you're well lubricated before hes inside you, etc?

The pain is mostly around my cervix. You know how for most women their first sexual experience can be painful....with me it feels like the first time, EVERY time... the pain gradually diminishes after a few minuits of intercourse  but at the beginning it is always extremely painful. What concerned me most was the bleeding that occured this last time.

You could have an STD, pelvic inflamatory disease, or other issues causing this. Where abouts is the pain during sex? Best thing to do is to see a doctor and be checked.
