Yes you do need to see a doctor to give you the correct diagnosis and treatment if this is required.
By the symptoms that you have with stinging every time you pee and the blood, the blood may actually be coming from your bladder. The stinging with peeing is indicative of a urinary infection.
You doctor will be able to test your urine and see if it is a urinary infection that you have and will give you the correct treatment for this.
At home and in the meantime, you must drink plenty of water (2-3 litres throughout the day) to flush the bugs out. Drinking a glassful of water with a teaspoonful of Bicarbonate of Soda mixed in it will help to neutralise the acidic urine. You can drink that solution 3 times with 1 hour in between each dose.
The sooner you get to see the doctor, the sooner you will get the right treatment.
let us all know how you get on.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
ah okay. well you see..every time i pee, the vestibule/labia sting. and also seems like the bleeding hasnt stop yet. :(
do i need a doctor to get this treated?
Do not worry unduly.
As you are both clean from STDs, you will not catch anything from him. You can get fungal and bacterial infections and you will know if you have this when your period stops. If you get a discharge or start to feel itchy and sore then it would be likely that you have got Thrush and both of you would need to be treated, otherwise you would just pass it on to each other.
You will not get pregnant having sexual penetration whilst you are on your period.
So don't stress.
Best wishes.
im new to sex so there is no way i could get STDs and as for my partner, he is also clean as well
Hi. When you first start taking birth control pills it can affect the blood during your period.
It's not good to have unprotected sex. If you were worried about catching something it is smart to have your partner tested for STDs. You can go to your Doctor & be tested too. Pamela
