I also have this problem. I went to my gyno and spoke with her about it.. I was tested for infection/disease and everything was normal.
I now use lubricant and only have minor bleeding. It was at first an issue between my partner and I.. he wanted more sex but we usually give me time to heal up.

on self examination i found that there was a tear inside my V but i'm still going for the pap smear
thanks, i've arranged for a pap smear after my periods which i'm expecting in two days. i haven't had any unprotected sex in 3 years but i'm very frightened of cervical cancer.
