If you have not had a period in 4 years it is likely that you have gone through the change, or you have polycystic ovaries, hormone problems or some other womb problem.

Some people do through the change of life much earlier than others.  It is only by going to your doctor to check your hormone levels by taking a blood test will the doctor know for sure.   If your hormone levels are fine, and you have had no periods for 4 years, the doctor will be able to send you for an ultrasound scan to find out the reason for your missed periods for so long.

If you have not been eating healthily and could be anaemic that can make you not have periods too.

If you have been  having penetrative sex and have not got pregnant in the 4 years that you have not had a period, it is highly unlikely that you would get pregnant.

It is a bit unbelievable, although it is very rare that it can happen, for a man with a vasectomy and a woman with tied tubes to conceive a baby through penetrative sex.  Either someone is not being truthful, or the surgeries carried were not done correctly.

I suggest you see your doctor to find out the reason why you have not had a period for the 4 years.

Best wishes.

i do not think I have went thru the change yet, but have not had a period in 4 years. My husband has a vasectomy, yet got someone pregnant that had had her tubes tied and they had a daughter.
I have mental health problems also, do you still think it is possible for me to get pregnant?

If you still have a womb and ovaries, even though you do not have periods, the answer is, yes you can get pregnant without having a period.

Unless you have completed the change of life and have been without a period for well over 12 months, then there is a possibility of getting pregnant.

To be sure, do a pregnancy test after the recommended time lapse after having had penetrative sex.

Best wishes.
