polcystic ovaries and unprotected sex

i had completely unprotected sex and now one week later, fear that i may be pregnant. what are the chances? i had just finished my period which lasted 2 days. if i took a pregnancy test now, would it tell me if i where pregnant? i have polycystic ovarian syndrome and have previously had unprotected sex and not got pregnant, but he came inside and so obviously really worried.

I have over 20 years history with PCOS. I have had three babies. So, don't let having PCOS make you think you can't get pregnant. The fact you just finished your period is more a factor, usually you can't concieve right after a period. That is not 100%. Sperm can live up to like 8 days in the vagina. Test can detect pregnancy fairly early but I would repeat the test in a few weeks. If you don't want to have a baby you have to use protection. You also need to protect yourself from STD's. Pulling out is not 100% either. Good luck!
