pain during sex

sometimes when I have sex with my boyfriend it really hurts in my tummy, kinda internal and more to the right side. I dont think its just because he goes deep because its not all the time. Just wondering if anyone else had experienced this. Its kinda like a stabbing pain. I'd be really grateful for a reply!

I've had a similar thing, but it wasn't really pain.  It was just lots of pressure in my abdomen.  I had in once and this was during a time I had a reaction to the foods I was eating, so I just figured it had something to do with that.

When you are close to your period or in the middle of ovulating, you can definitely get different sensations.  Pressure on the cervix from the wrong direction can cause pain as well.  You would thiink you could only get pressure from one directions, but it isn't really so.  Sometimes the penis will push the cervix up or off to one side which can cause the stabbing pain I think you're trying to describe.  Its all totally normal.  Make a mental note the next time it happens and see if you are within three days or so of your period.  Ovulating won't cause that kind of pain, but it can cause a cramp like feeling along around the bikini line on one side or the other.
