Herpes....or?

For the past few months I've had itching and discharge from my vagina. It's been on/off. Sex has been bad and I've bled from it. I last had sex in october.

Recently I've shaved. I noticed a pimple or ingrown hair on my labia, i popped it and it healed.

I've always had fordyce spots on my vaginal region. Recently that area has become very red and inflamed (I masturbate, so maybe it's the friction?) I tried treatment for a yeast infection a month ago but it hardly helped. There are many small blisters in the region. They do not look like herpes. They are very symmetrical and only in certain areas (same places as my fordyce spots). could these be inflamed fordyce spots? Is this just a yeast infection or something else? Vaginal odor has changed but it is not fishy. Could this be herpes still? This has happened once before and I went to the gynecologist that week for a typical check up and she did not say anything about the inflamed spot. Should I be a bit gentler when I masturbate? Is it just from friction? I will try to stop masturbating for a few days to see if things will heal. Things are still a bit itchy. Should I change soaps? Is it the toilet paper?

Thanks. Yeah, at first I was freaking out, and then I thought,"Herpes blisters wouldn't form in a small perfect line outside a particular area, they usually cluster." also, these look different. I think they might be inflamed fordyce spots. I've always had them, I think these are just irritated for many reasons.

Herpes would crust over and hurt if it was there, but getting a simple blood check would put a lot of fears to ease
