Plz help advise on daughter's spots

Hello,

My 9 yr old daughter came to me with swelling on the balls of her one foot two days ago.  I looked and there were three relatively undefined redish purple spots on the center.  I thought plantar warts.  Today, she showed me her right index finger was swollen at the base.  As I'm falling asleep, my wife tells me she also has a similar swollen spot on her breast.  All spots are painful.

I'm very worried and cannot find anything on the web that would link the three.

Please advise.

Worried dad

Has this improved? If it hasn't they need to see a doctor, it could be Melanoma.

Insect bites spring to mind. Don't touch them or pick at them for 3 weeks and see whether they are still there. Anything serious will not go away but most transient things will have shrunk or cleared up completely by then.

There are also viruses that can cause odd skin rashes/spots.

Take care.
