A Sound I Hear Preventing Me From Falling Asleep

Hi,
There is a sound that I often hear in my left ear when I  bend down. The sound also occurs when I'm about to fall asleep or laying down. The worst part is when I drift off to sleep, I suddenly hear that sound followed by a feeling of butterflies /drop feeling , which wakes me up and I have to catch my breath. I've been hearing this sound for a while but recently it's been interupting my sleep and now I have insomnia. I'm not sure if it has to do with my anxiety or heart but the noise that I kept hearing sounds like a little owl hooting.  Do you know this condition? I would like to know about it.

Thank you,

Lei

Don't know.  But a checkup with your doc will help you get to the root of this.
